Mote Marine Aquarium – Explore the ocean depths featuring sea turtles, dolphins, whales, sharks, jellyfish and much more. No ordinary aquarium, Mote has a sea turtle rehabilitation center, a dolphin/whale hospital and conducts scientific research for the preservation of our oceans. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens – Explore the world’s most spectacular display of rare orchids and bromeliads in this 8.5 acre tropical oasis on the shores of Sarasota Bay. 811 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota

Ringling Museum of Art – This 66-acre estate includes a Museum of Art offering 21 galleries of European paintings as well as Cypriot antiquities, Asian Art, American paintings, and contemporary art. Lipizzan Horses – The pride of the Austrian Empire, these rare horses perform their classical equestrian moves every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
